Star & The Rose is an artisan florist and lifestyle store sitting at the northern end of Tonbridge High Street.

Charlotte founded Star & The Rose in 2019 creating a store that merged her passion for floral design with her love of sourcing beautiful homeware, plants and gift items. Her aspiration is for Star & The Rose to bring a touch of happiness to the day of every visitor - even if it’s just to pop in and smell the roses!

Star & The Rose floral style is wild and romantic, incorporating unruly grasses and dried elements with rich blooms to create a real bohemian bouquet. Alongside our fresh blooms we also have an extensive selection of dried flowers. Our dried floral bunches are a fresh flower alternative that lasts (almost!) forever.

Alongside our flower and plant stock we have also carefully selected an assortment of gorgeous homewares and gifts. These include beautiful handmade ceramics from Charlotte’s mother Jillie and customised embroidered denim jackets from Charlotte’s sister Daisy ‘Denim & Bone’.

As a florist we are taking every step to become as eco friendly as possible. We are researching different techniques and packaging options to go plastic free in the near future! We’re also in contact with local growers to keep our blooms local and seasonal. If you’re a local grower, please get in contact - we’d love to hear from you!

Flower shops are one of the last surviving traditional trades on the high street which is why we know the importance of every arrangement being beautifully crafted with love and delivered with the utmost care. Keeping the quality will keep the trade alive!
